A Piece Of Cake

Makes you hungry too right? A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown is not that different from that cake at your neices party that you take home in your pocketbook. Nah, I never robbed cake. And I don't usually say the word pocketbook. Alright let me stop. The problem is, I'm hungry.

I saw the book in someone else's hands and they were talking about it being good. I don't really like books, but I wanted to see what it was about. I was looking for the book, but apparently they were being taken like they were net books so I waited and since then I haven't put it down.

You'll Never Lose Another Sports Arguement Again!

Ever had an argument about what sports team is the best?, go out of your way to prove your point as much as you can but because of your lack of knowledge in sports you end up feeling stupid?, well NOT ANYMORE!. Now you can actually know what your talking about and show it when you feel the need to get yourself into an argument about sports, never look stupid again in front of friends! impress them with your knowledge about sports and make them feel like they need to be the ones paying more attention. Make bets you KNOW your going to win, like how the Lakers are going to beat the Celtics (Duh..)
That's the life Im living now after reading this book "The Best New York Sports Arguments", no more feeling left out in a sports conversation for me, now i am the expert =D.
I'll hit you guys up with some more info next time but trust me.. after reading this lets just say i might just be writing in Sports Illustrator myself.

Go Ask Alice

Go Ask Alice is a real diary found telling a story of a young teenage girl experiencing her rough times as a young teenager. Alice is the girl's name, and she writes as if she had no one to turn to but her diary. She explains how her life was always different from most girls her age. While everyone had someone to turn to, she was the one that had no one but her self and now her diary. She writtes as if she had the book to turn to and in it she could excape her hurts in her writting. This book is very dramatic, emotional, and addicting making me non-stop reading. Every page keeps me wanting to know what happened next in her life.
I cant imagine if my diary was looked at and specially published to thousands even millions of readers knowing my personal experiences and my most down moments in life. This book is interesting especially because its a real life experience, and that makes it crazy- knowing it actually happened.

Bodega Dreams

When I first heard the title Bodega Dreams it made me think of where I come from, which is Apanish Harlem. The story is told through the voice of a young boy names Chino. That is his street name because of his fighting skills and looks. He tells us about his adventures with his best friend Sapo. You will be stuck on to the book with al their crazy stories. The book explains the title of it later on. Bodega is actually a person- a very important person. He is the person that knows everything that is going on in the neighborhood and nothing can go on with out him knowing first.

Period Five Gets The Job Done .

Period Five always makes me happy just in time for lunch.
